During the afternoon siesta in Litoral, a north eastern coastal region of Argentina, members of the female soccer team ‘The Indomitables’ await the commencement of the local women’s soccer tournament. During this time, all sorts of events unfold: conflicts of love, politics and even the rain threaten the one thing for which these women unite; to play soccer at any cost.
A fascinating film that focuses on love, competitiveness, politics, prejudice and the struggle to occupy a traditionally male place. A story about a sport as a metaphor for life: where mixing, sharing, fighting and loving are the only things that really lend meaning to our existence.
