To be or not to be a mother, that is the question. Milagros stretches a carefree youth in her final years of fertility while Jonathan seeks solace from abandonment in his addiction to Grindr. Milagros runs away from her single-parent insemination date. Jonathan triggers a reunion with a childhood sweetheart. The road and friendship ease the disorientation caused by the deceptive freedom of the early 21st century. A delirious road movie full of music, where a mysterious mermaid with a magic crown will guide the journey.
