Plazeratu.klub regards the festival as a critical space in which to vindicate and make visible the pleasure of the LGTBIQA+ collective seeking to overcome the traditional approaches of the predominant local festive culture, proposing other possible imageries and codes of interrelation based on queer dissidence and thus other ways of inhabiting the festival as a safer space where collective struggles can flourish and where we may celebrate ourselves. Plazeratu.klub works mainly in Iruñerria, and we are pleased to have them at Zinegoak to learn about and experience their political practice around the festival.
