Arthur J. Bressan Jr. first directed this film in 1985 and it was the world\u2019s first feature-length fiction film about the HIV-AIDS epidemic. In 2019, the work was restored and is an account of an entire era in history. The film tells the story of David, a 25-year-old man, who volunteers to be a \u2018buddy\u2019 to a person affected by AIDS. The community centre assigns him to Robert, a 32-year-old Californian gardener, politically passionate and abandoned by his friends and lovers. <\/span><\/p>\n
