Te separas mucho

In 1989, José Luis and Luz María, a young married couple who live in Galicia and have just had a daughter, get divorced. José Luis films the whole process of the break-up with his camera. In 2019, their daughter Paula, who has been living in France for ten years with her girlfriend Joy, breaks up. Paula, same as her father, has recorded their love story and its end throughout this time. This documentary uses intimate archive material to trigger a dialogue between two break-ups thirty years apart, trying to answer the question: what remains when love ends?
