Préstame tus ojos

When I was a child, my father showed me how to see the world through a camera. While he was losing his sight, I became both a photographer and a guide. Today, I seek to break free from his gaze by questioning the patriarchal narratives I have inherited. “Préstame tus ojos” (‘Lend me your eyes’), the game he taught me as a child, is today my declaration of visual independence.
