Crossing

Lia, a world-weary and financially struggling former schoolteacher has promised to fulfill her recently deceased sister’s last wish –to find her long lost daughter Tekla. Together with Tekla’s former neighbor and friend she embarks on an emotive journey forming an unlikely and involuntary bond as they navigate the backstreets of Istanbul together in search of Tekla.
