Victor returns to his country during the summer holidays. He is in his early twenties and grew up in Malaga. He goes on a journey that brings him face to face with his roots: a village in the Balkans, Bulgaria. There he meets Liuben, an orphaned gypsy teenager who earns his living, among other things, by selling fruit on the roadside.
