Egoitz Sanchez

He was born in San Sebastián and was educated at the RESAD. As a theatre and screen actor, he has built his career with the National Classical Theatre Company and La Dramática Errante. He is part of the cast of Festen and La viuda alegre at the Arriaga Theatre, and works as a dancer in Marikon, esto acaba de empezar and Juana, by Los Dedae. He appears in the series El instante decisivo, Amar es para siempre and stars Gernika bajo las bombas.

Fer Rivas

She is a writer, stage director and playwright. She is a co-founder of the theatre company laMare, with whom she directed her first play, and has also worked as an assistant director on various productions at the Sala Beckett, the Goya Theatre and the Grec Festival in Barcelona. In recent years, she has combined her writing and theatrical projects with her work as a bookseller. Yo era un chico is her first book, and she is currently working on its stage adaptation.

Vanja Milena Munjin Paiva

She is a Chilean film programmer and researcher. She is part of the programming committee for the Valdivia International Film Festival (FICValdivia). She completed a Master’s degree in Film Archiving at the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola.

Ana David

Programmer working between Lisbon and Berlin. She’s an advisor to the official selection of the Berlinale, a member of the advisory board of Berlinale Panorama since 2017, and codirector at Queer Lisboa/Porto. Between 2021 and 2024, she served as curator at Batalha Centro de Cinema (Porto). Her debut publication, After Hours: Clubbing on Film, which she co-edited, was released in 2026.

Isabel Cardenas Cañon

She is a writer and director of documentary audio programmes. Her work explores the construction of memory and the relationship between personal narratives and collective stories from a feminist perspective. She produces the narrative non-fiction podcast De eso no se habla (Ondas Award). She holds a PhD in Cultural Studies and is the author of several books. She is currently working on the development of cinematographic projects.

Sandra Carmona

She is an illustrator with over 15 years’ experience as well as the founder of Altramuz Editorial. Her work is linked to her identity as a mixed-race Romani lesbian and transfeminist woman and to her commitment to creating her own narrative that highlights the diversity, history and culture of the Romani people and the LGTBIQ+ community through art and literature. Her work and publishing endeavours have been recognised with awards for promoting Romani culture.

Jesus Choya

ECAM graduated, he currently runs LAZONA Zinema after serving as an executive producer at Buenapinta Media on films such as Ciudad sin sueño, Los domingos and Altas capacidades. Previous to that, he produced several short films that won awards at the Málaga and SEMINCI film festivals, coordinated post-production on No me gusta conducir and Daniela Forever, and hosted the podcast Fuck la fama! for the MEDIA Europa programme. In 2024, Variety included him in its list of Spanish Emerging Producers to Watch.

María Rosón

She is a historian of photo albums and other paper artefacts. Her research is rooted in an interest in the intimate and the quotidian, linking 20th-century visual and material culture with perspectives drawn from intersectional feminism, memoirs and dissident archives. She is a professor of contemporary art history at the Complutense University of Madrid. She has worked at the Autonomous University of Madrid, where she obtained her PhD, at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía and at the University of Valencia.

Jacqueline Nsiah

Cultural anthropologist, film curator and programmer with nearly two decades of experience in the global film festival circuit. She holds an MA in Visual and Media Anthropology and a BA in African Studies and Politics. She is currently a member of the Berlinale selection committee and she also co-curates for the Africa Film Festival Cologne. She has also served as Programme Director at the Africa Film Society in Ghana, among other projects.
